Picnic tables and fire rings are provided at each campsite. The cabins also have grills. Amenities include a game room, swimming pool, and covered pavilion area. Campers can also enjoy a number of outdoor games, including volleyball, shuffleboard, and horseshoes.
The bath houses and laundry facilities are centrally located, making them easily accessible from any spot in the campground. There is a camp store where visitors can purchase necessities, as well as check out board games and pick up reading materials. Free movies are shown on the store's wraparound porch every evening.
Cherokee/Great Smokies KOA Campground

The location was Happy Holiday RV Park for many years, but closed for a little while during 2010 and re-opened with new owners and under new management during April of the same year.
This sizable campground sites on 40 acres and has 375 campsites. It offers many amenities typical of RV resort facilities, such as a store, game room, cable television, and Internet access, as well as some that are quite unique. For example, this campground has a fishing lake that registered campers can use free, banquet and meeting facilities, and regularly scheduled live entertainment. Guests also have access to clean modern restrooms and hot showers. Handicapped accessible facilities are also available.
